Chosen of the Lord Book Cover

My book covers a season of high expectation and vision for ministry for my husband, Terry, and me. That is the plus side. The negative side came in the form of overwhelming disappointment, loss, and brokenness, along with a nagging sense of failure. I came face to face with the harshness of stress and its debilitating effect that compounded my problems.

“Chosen of the Lord-Broken in Heart” deals with real life struggles.

I believe my book will prove the power of the Word of God to prevail in our lives regardless of the hurt, loss, or any brokenness that we may have experienced. Even if you feel you have failed the Lord, God’s Word is greater and is sufficient to restore and make whole and enable you to stand again. This book is not only my personal testimony but it can be used as a teaching tool in Bible classes or studies. Some of the subjects that are covered in my book are:

  • when God’s will is a mystery to us,
  • dealing with spiritual and mental oppression,
  • confronting the desire to retaliate,
  • finding your path to healing and restoration,
  • and the power of worship while still in pain.

The Lord came to our rescue in unpredictable ways and turned pain into gain. Loss was not the end of the story after all. He used the season of brokenness to teach me more about Him, myself and others – and how the enemy attempts to use circumstances to defeat us and rob us of our destiny. Even so, God’s grace is still sufficient and far superior to any circumstance or spiritual foe we may face.

There is more you can read about in my book and I hope you will order a copy today and experience its positive message.

“For new Christians, a good book to start your walk. For seasoned veterans, a great book to help you keep your edge. A reminder that we aren’t promised a trouble free life, only a wonderful eternity.”
